For the past couple of weeks, we've been working hard building relationships for the club, making edits for our website, and digging into possible grant proposals. We have also brainstormed mission ideas that we can potentially implement in our club.
For people out there who wants to start a club in the future, try reaching out to other successful clubs with the same mission. We have emailed countless schools seeking advice and opportunities for our club. These schools range from colleges such as Brown University and Stanford University to high schools such as Thomas Jefferson High School (first High School to successfully launch a CubeSat into orbit). Remember, Wayne Gretzky once said, "You miss 100% of the shots you don't take." Opportunities are all around us, waiting for you to reach out and contact them. You just have to take that first shot and you might net an idea that will change your life forever. This might just help kick start your club, but remember that this applies to life as well. Never be afraid to reach out to others.
